owned by it on .Gedden Street, out of the Countis Traot, and

outside of the City limits of the city of Corpus Christi,

this time to spend the Abele of such amount on such lines

The City of Corpus Christi agrees to construct e
10° sewer line and a 6" water line From connections within
the City of worpue Christi to said proposed school, under
specifications prepared by the City Engineer, and to attach
to said 6" water line at said school a fire hydrant,

The Gorpus Christi Independent School Liatrict
agrees, upon the completion of said lines and fire plug,
to pay to the Cfiy of Corpus Chrlstl the sum of Five
Thousand 05,000) Lollars as its part of the installation
of such lines.

the parties hereto that the title to such lines is and
will regain in the City of Corpus Christi.
IV.
This contract shall be binding upon the parties
hereto, their successors, assigns and legal representatives.

SECTION 2. The public importance of this Ordinance
creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity re.
quiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no Ordinance or
Resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced
and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three
several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared
that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and
having requested that such Charter rule be suspended, and that
this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction
and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY ORDAINED.

For the reasons net forth in the emergency clause
of the foregoing ordinance, a public emergency and an imperative
necessity exist for the suepeasion of the Charter rule or require -
mont that no ordinanca or resolution shall be passed finally on the
date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall
be read at three several meetings of the City Councils I. therefore,
hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement
and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or
at the present meeting of the City Council.
