The importance to the City of Corpus Christi for the continuance of this recreational tract of land creates a public emergency and an imperative public nec- essity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule or require- ment that no Ordinance or Resolution be passed finally on the date of its introduction, and that said Ordinance or Resolution be passed finally on the date of its introduction, end that said Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Counoil, and the Mayor, in writing* having declared that said public emergency and imperative necessity exist and having requested that such Chester rule be suspended and that this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduc- tion and take effect and be in fall force and effect from and after its passage, it is accordingly, SO ORD41M. ® c PASSED AND APPROVED this, the J9 day of 1444 MAYOR, City of Corpus Christi, TE %A S.
