SIX (6), SEWER (7), EIGHT (S), NINE (9), TEN (10), ELEVEN (11), TWELVE (12), THIRTEEN (15). FOURTEEN (14), FIFTEEN (15), SL: UN (16), SEVENTEEN (17), EIGHTEEN (1s). NISE- TEEN (19). AND TWENTY (20); REPEALING ALL ORDI- NANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT ID;RE- WITHi AND DECLARING AN RMGENCY", BEING ORDINANCE NO. 1672, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI ON THE 22ND DAY OF APRIL, A. D. 1944, BY MMWG CERTAIN CHANGES AND ADDITIONS TO PARAGRAPH (k) OF SECTION 1 THEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHER a, the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, by Ordinance of date April 22, 1944, passed and approved an Ordinance dividing the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, into twenty (20) Bond Election Precincts for and in which all muni- oipal bond elections should be held in and for said City, and designating said Band Election Precincts by numbers from One (1) to Twenty (20), inclusive: and wEau As, -It is deemed by the City Council aecessery to make an amendment to Paragraph (k) of Section 1 of said Ordinance in order that new and additional territory which has been annexed and added to the City of Corpus Christi since the date of the passage of said Ordinance might be included in its proper Bond Election Precinct in said City, NCff, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE - CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TZXASt SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1672, passed end approved by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, on the 22nd day of April, A. D. 1944, and recorded in Volume 13, on Page 561 of the Ordinance and Resolution Records of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and entitledt 'AN ORDINANCE DI7IDING THE CITY OF - CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, INTO TWENV (20) BDND ELECTION PRECINCTS, FOR AND IN WHICH ALL MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTIONS SHALL HEREAFTER BE HELD IN AND FOR SAID CITY, AND TO BE 1NC919 AS BOND ELECTION PRECINCTS NUMBERS ONE (1), TAO (2), THREE (3), FOUR (4), FIVE (B), 811 (8), SEVEN _ (7), EIGHT (8) -, NINE (9), TEN (30), EIEVEN (11), TWELVE (12), THIRTEEN (13), FOURTEEN (14), FIFTEEN (15), SIXTEEN (18), SEVENTEEN (17), EIGHTEEN (18), NINETEEN (19), AND TWENTY (20)l REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT EKWITHi AND DECLARING AN ENER- GENCr, be emended as follows, to -writ, That Paragraph (k) of Section 1 of said Ordinance be amended so as to read, hereafter, as follows, to -.rite a(k) Bond Election Precinct Number Eleven (11) shall be composed of the Eleventh Ward of said City, as that ward is designated by metes and bounds and fined Ordinance du sad end approved on the day of �,, A. The fact that this emended ordinance is necessary in order to confer properly and legally upon the residents and citizens of the annexed territory hereinbefere mentioned the rights and privileges of voting on Important bond elections to be held in the near future, and to do so in said Bond Election Precinct No. 11, and to otherwise exercise their rights and privileges as citizens of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, in said Bond Election Precinct No. 11, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule providing that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such public emergency and necessity exist, and having requested that maid Charter rule be suspended, and that this Ordinance take effect and be in Hill faros and effect from and after its passage, IT IS, ACCORDINGLY, 60 ORDAINED, PASSED AND APPROVED this day of-Ceit/ A.
