The fact the + . it is importm t to the residents of the territory proposed to be annexed and to the residents of the City of Corpus Christi that an inzediate record be rade of the results of the election held December 28, 1944, so that adegaate prevision may be made paneling the annexation of said territory creating a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring -the suspension of the Charter rule providing that no Crdinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and tha +, such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and - having requested that said Charter rule be suspended and that this Ordinance ta::e effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS, AGC0DI17OLY, SO P.ASS.SD AM APPROVED on this 7 day o£ December, A.
