CITY CONTROLLER OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, TO EXECUTE FOR AND ON BaRATF OF SAID

TO MONA C. STEM-RT, A WIDOW, FIXING AND DErkIY-
ING AN EASM —STT HERETOFORE GRANTED TO THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. TO CONFORM TO THE
RIGHT -OF -7W HERETOFORE DEFINED FOR BALDWIN
BOULEVARD EXTENDED; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAILED BY THE CITY: COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CMISTI,
TEAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and the City Controller of
the City of Corpus Christi, Texass be, and they are hereby, author-
ized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of said City, a
release from the City of Corpus Christi to Mona C. Stewart, a wid=,
fixing and defining an easement heretofore granted to the City of
Corpus C %aristi, Texas, to conform to the right- o£-way heretofore
defined for Baldwin Boulevard extended, a copy of which contract is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and reads as follows, to -wit;

SECTION 2. The public importance of this Ordinance
creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity re-
quiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no Ordinance or
Resolution shall be passed finally on the data it is introduced
and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three sev-
eral meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared
that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and
having requested that such Charter rule be suspended, and that
this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction
and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, IT IS ACCOPLP.:GL1- ORDAINED.

Gentlemen:
For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause
of the foregoing Ordinance, a public emergency and an imperative
necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or require -
ment that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on
the date it is introduced, and that such Ordinance or Resolution
snail hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or require -
ment and pass this Ordinance finallyy on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeticg of the City Council.
