NAMM CERTAIN BUS STOPS, PURSUANT TO SECTION
2, SUB- SECTION C, OF TNR TRAFFIC CODE OF THE
CITi OF CORPUS CHRISTI
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2, Sub - section C of
the Traffic Code, the City Council has the right to establish
bus stops on such public streets, in such places as it shall
determine to b3 of the greatest benefit and convenience to
the publio; and,
WHEREAS, to promote safety and for the benefit and
convenience of the public, Captain L. H. Davis, head of the
City Police Traffic Department, has recommended designation
of certain bus stops on oerWa streets, to be so designated
pursuant to said ordinance, and the Council having considered
said recommendations and found them to -be in the interest of
the public safety and of greatest benefit and convenience to
the public:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, in regular
session, that the following bus stops be fixed, established
and designated, pursuant to Section 2, Sub- section C, of the
Traffic Code of the City of Corpus Christi:
1. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Chaparral
Street, at the Northeast corner of Chaparral and Schatsel
Streets, at West side of Loea's Drug Store, Borth 75 feet.
2. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Sobatsel
Street, at the Southeast corner of Chaparral and Sebatsel
Streets, at the North side of Sun Pharmacy, East 90 feet.
3. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Chaparral
Street, at the Southeast corner of Ohaparral and Schatsel
Streets, at West side of Sun Pharmacy, South 105 feet.
4. Starting at pedestrian lane on Chaparral Street,
at the Northeast corner of Chaparral and Lawrence Streets,
at hest aide of Buttrey's Store, North 75 feet.
S. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Lawrence
Street at the Southeast corner of Chaparral and Lawrence
Streets at the North side of Ed White & Sons Store, East
120 feet.
6. ,Starting at the pedestrian lane on Peoples
Street at the Northeast corner of Mesquite and Peoples
Streets at the South side of Save Way Store, Bast,75 feet.
7. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Leopard
Street at the Northwest corner of Leopard and Tancahua
Streets, at the South aide of McGee's Drug Store, West 75
feet.
S. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Taucahua
Street at the Northwest corner of Leopard and Tanoahua
Streets, at Bast side of McGee's Drug Store, North 60 feet.
9. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Carancahua
Street at the Southwest corner of Leopard and Caranoahua
Streets at the last side of Perkins Store, South 45 feet.
10. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Caranoahua
Street at the Southeast corner of Leopard and Carancahua
Streets at the West side of Bickford Drugs 0, South 40 feet.
11. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Tancahua
Street at the Southeast corner of Leopard and Tancahua
Streets, on the West Bide of ftron's Dress Slop, South 45 feet.
12. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Brownlee
Street at the Southwest corner of Leopard and Bro Iles,
south 6o feet.
13. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Leopard
Street at the Southwest corner of Leopard and Brownlee,
West 40 feet.
14. Starting at the pedestrian lane on Leopard
Street at the Southeast corner of leopard Street and Palm
Avenue, North of the NYA Building, Rest 75 feet.
15. In the middle of the block on Staples Street
between Leopard and Meatina Streets, on West side of street,
190 feet East of Rodrigues property.
16. Starting at pedestrian lane on Staples Street
at the Northwest corner of Staples and Agnes Streets, East
of Workingmen's Store, North 75 feet.
17. The Triangle at Six Points, owned by the City,
70 fent_ca Pa]me, 97 feet on South Staples and 72 feet
on Alameda.
18. Starting at pedestrian lane on Alameda Street
at the Southeast corner of Ayers and Alameda Streets, West
of MoNabble, South 70 feet.
19. Starting at the Joe 0. Gana Service Station
line on .Ayers Street, at the Northwest corner of Alameda
and Ayers Streets, West 35 feet.
20. Starting at the pedestrian lane on 13th Street
at the corner of 19th and Morgan Streets, North 50 feet.
21. Skip stops and various other stops throughout the
City, as now fixed and designated.
