That said release of easement shall be delivered upon the payment to the City of Corpus Christi of the consideration of ;,200.00 mentioned in said release of easement. Section 3. he £ac +, that the release of easement is necessary to be executed in order that industrial develonmont may proceed in the area adjacent to the property described in said easement creates a public emer- gency and a public imperative necessity, requiring the susnension of the Charter rule providing that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council, and the Hayor having declared that such public emergency and imperative necessity exists, and requests that said Charter rule be suspended, and that this Ordinance tale effect and be in force and effect from and after its passage, and it is accordingly so ordained. PASSED AIM AFr30VED, this MAYOR, UTY Or COP--US CEPS TI, T;YAS aT_55 ^; t G'Ity ecru ary AKPROVFFD AS 'r0 LEGAL FOR11i Acting 10Y o VY Corpya Christi, Texas 1945 TO THE IMUERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF CCRPCS CHRISTI Corpus Christi, Texas Gentlemen: For the reasons set forth in the emergenoy clause of the foregoing Ordinance, a public emergency and an imperative neaessity exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that no Ordinance or P.esolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this Ordi- nance- finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
