"SECTION 14. Subsection 7 (7) BEIGBTs The height limit shall be two and one- half stories for a dwelling." (b) Subsection 7 of Section 16 of said Ordinanco is amended so that it shall hereafter read as follows: "SECTION 16. subssctio'n 7 (7) BEIGHT: The height limit shall be as follows: Dwelling or Tourist Court - 2$ stories." (c) Subsection 7 of Section 17 of said Ordinance is amended so that it shall hereaiDr read as followss "SECTION 17. Subsection 7 Y j Y (7) NEIGBT: The height limit shall be as follows; Dwelling or Tourist Court - 2% stories." (d) Subsection 7 of Section 19 of said Ordinance is amended so that it shall hereafter read as.foilcws; "SECTION 19. Subsection 7 (7) HEIGEPs, The height limit shall be as follows; Dwelling or tourist courts - 2 stories." (e) Subsection 6 of Section 21 of said Ordinance is amended no that it shall hereafter read as follows, "SECTION 21. Subsection 6 (6) HEIGHTS The height limit shall be as follows= Dwelling or tourist court - 21..storiese" (f) Subsection 6 of Section 25 of said Ordinance is amended so that it shall hereafter read as follows= "SECTION 25. Subsection 6 (6) $EIGET: The height limit shall be as follows Apartment house - 100 feet." SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed by this amendment but this amendnerit shall not in any manner charge said Zoning Ordinance except as to the particular Sections and portions thereof herein above specifically amended. SECTION 3. The fact that this amendment is necessary to the orderly and progressive.growth of the City and to the welfare of the citizens residing and owning property in the City of Corpus Christi creates a publio emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or reeolution shall be Passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or reso- lution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Counoil, and the Mayor having declared in writing that such public emergency, and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such Charter rule be suspended, and that this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT is, ACCORDINGLY, SO OBDAI :.. x PASSED AND APPROVED this A day of Octobers A. Do* 1945• APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM: Aa ang City A torney s Te=s s Corpus Christi,.Texas i TO THE MMMERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL,: CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS Gen�eruen: For the reasans set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing Ordinance, a public emergency and an imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, hereby request that yous suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this Ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
