APPROVING DRAY 1, 1947, AS FINAL DATE
OF SALE OF RE- COMBINED AND.UNGRADED
MILK WITHIN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS
WAS, Dr. Gordon F. Fisher, the Public Health
Officer of the City of Corpus Christi, who is also the Director
of the Corpus Christi- Nueces County Health Unit, has reoom-
mended that May 1, 1j47 is the earliest date at which re -com-
biped milk should be prohibited from being sold within the
City of Corpus Christi; and
WBEg AS, The Milk Ordinance of the City of Corpus
Christi contains the provisions prohibiting the sale of aqj-
thing but Grade A milk, and contains a further provision that
such prohibition can be waived by the City Council, in
cooperation with the City- County Health Unit,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the provision of the Milk Ordinance
of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, being Ordinance No. 1491
which prohibits the sale of any milk other than Grade A mils,
be waived and no enforcement be had thereof until and after
the first day of I�ay, 191+7, but that after such date, the an-
tire ordinance shall be enforced in accordance with its expressed
kAterms.
