MOORS AND LEI$ W. MOORE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS; SECTION I. That the City Mmager of the City of Corpus Christi be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the s& d City of Corpus Christi a special warranty deed to David H. Moore and Lela W. Moore, a copy of which deed is attached hereto and made a part hereof and reads as follows, to -wit: STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF NUECBS KNOW ALL WEN BY THSSR PRESENTS h That the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, 7SEAS, a municipal corporation, of the County of Nuueces and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sun of Seven Hundred and Fifty (#750.00) and B0/100 Dollars to it in hand paid by David H. Moore and We N. Moore, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have granted, sold and conveyed, and by those presents do grant, sell and convey into the said David H. Moore and iota W. Moore of the County of Nueoes, State of Texas, all that certain tract or parcel of land, being situated in Nueces County, Texas, and within the corporate limits of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and being an irregular tract of land out of Block 21, Hillorest Addition to the City of Corpus Christi, and consisting of fractional Lots 22, 23, 24, and 25 and being more particularly described as followsx Beginning at a point in the southeast R.O.W. line of Stillman Street at the southwest corner of Lot 21, Block 21, Hillorest Addition for the northwest corner of this tract, said point being also the northwest corner of Lot 222, Block 21, Hillorest Addition; Thence S 590 59, E along the southhweat boundary line of Lot 21. The public importance of this Resolution creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity requiring the suspension of the charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such public emer- gency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such charter rule be suspended, and that this Resolution be passed finally on the date of its introduction, take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY RESOLVED. City Corpus Christi, Texas December 31, 1946 TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL Corpus Christi, Texas Gentlemen: For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing resolution, a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter Rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement aid pass this resolution finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
