Wffi R17AS, there is needed the sum of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Fort`. -One Dollars and Fifty Cents ('$12,741.50) for water pro- jects needed on Duncan -Agnes Streets to Baldwin and Agnes- Bluntzer Streets to Port in the City of Corpus Christi, Texas; and, it RE ,S, there is in ',Dater Improvement Bond Fund No. 234 the sum of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty -Four Dollars and }Eleven Cents (011,7)44-11), which is new unencumbered and which funds are available for this purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Thy. CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEY4S: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the stun of Eleven Thou- sand Sevon Hundred and Forty -Four Dollars and ;,Pleven Cents (:11,744.11) from the ;.later Improvement Bond Fund No. 231, which money is to be used to pay for water Projects Nos. i.11 and 61 on Duncan -Agnes Streets to Baldwin and Agnes- Bluntzer Streets to Fort within the city. SECTION 2. The fact that the above set out projects are necessary to procure adequate water facilities creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Iniayor having declared that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally on tiie date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.
