I. It is hereby RESOLVM that the City Manager of the
City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and he is hereb,* authorized, empow-
ered, direciad, and instructed to execute the attached release of old
water, gas, and right -of -way easements heretofore hell and enjoyed by
the City of Corpus Christi on certain portions of that property aoi.N
known as 1VESTCH STER PLACE, an Addition in Nueces County, Texas, in ac-
cordance wit" map or plat thereof filed in the County Clerk's Office of
Nueces County, Texas,
II. The fact, that such old easements and rights -of -ways
are cloudinE the title to `iEaTCHESTrnR PLACE, where owners of lots are
seeking FHA, GI, and other loan applications, creates a public emer-
gency and an imperative public necessity requiring a suspension of the
Charter rule providi q; that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed
°i.nally on the day it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolu-
tion shall be read at three several meetinss of the City Council, and
the Mayor, having declared that such public emergency and such imperative
public necessity exists, requests that said Charter rule be suspended,
and that this ordinance or resolution take effect and be in full force
and effect fran and after its passage, and it is .so ORDAIHM.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of
the foregoiig Resolution, a public emergency and imperative public
necessity exists for the, suspension of the Charter rule requiring
that no ordinance or resolution be passed finally on the date of
its introduction, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be
read at three several meetings o° the City Council.
I, therefore, HERF,BY PEI,UEz,? that you suspend said
Charter rule and requirement and paps said Resolution on the date
of its introduction, or at the present meetiii{, of the City Council.

REMISE, AND REL1274UISfi unto the :carious owners of lots and property
in what is known as WESTChESTER PLACE, an ADDITION in Nueoes County,
Texas, as per map or plat thereof on file in the Map Records of
Nueces County, Texas, all of its right, title, and interest in and
to the following water pipe line right- of --wway easementas
A. Water pipe lire right- of-wey executed by
Paul Stars to the Corpus Christi Water Company, dated
the filth day of September, 1890, filed the 22d day of
September, 1890, and recorded in Volume V at page 64 of
the Deed Records in the Office of the County Clerk of
Nueoes County, Texas, to which instrument reference is
here made for a full description of the property upon
which said right- of-way was granted, and which instrument
is accordingly here incorporated herein for all intents
and purposes.

B. Water pipe line right- of-way easement
executed by Paul Sturm to the City of Corpus Christi,
dated the 6th day of March, 1893. recorded 31st day of
may, 1907, in Volume 27 at page 401, Deed Records of
Nueces County, Texas, to which instrmant reference is
here made for a full description of the property upon
which said right- of-way was granted and which instrument
is accordingly here incorporated for all intents and
purposes.
