BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, T2XAS;
SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, is hereby authorized end directed to execute a release
and quit claim of utility Casement to H- - i�eiem , d/b/ American Home
Builders Covering a utility easement hereinafter described in release
Of same which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all perti-
nent purposes:

and interest in and to a certain utility easement, said easement
covering the Following described property located in the City of Cor-
pus Christi. Nusces County. Texas, to -wit,
Being a strip of lam! 10 fact in width and 130 feet in length
and being the west 5 feet of Lot 15 and the east 5 Poet of
Lot 16, Block 12. Westgate Heights Addition. as shown by ori-
ginal plot of said addition recorded in Rook 8. page 25. Hap
Rscords of Nuance County. Tuns, and filed March 27, 1941, and

beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 15, Block 121 Westgate
Heights Addition, said point also being the northeast corner
of Lot 16 and lying in the south ling of Southgate Drivel

in said easement above described and it is the intention of the City

SECTION 2. The necessity for clearing title to lands covered
by this utility easement in order that same may be utilized by surrouding
owners of land creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity
requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolu-
tion shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such
ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the
City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such public emergency
and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such Charter
rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the
date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.

Gentlemen:
For the reasons sat forth in the emergency clause of the
foregoing ordinance, a public emergency end imperative n sity
exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or r.quirc— tsthat no
ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally. on the date it is
introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at
three meetings of the City Council, I, therefore, hereby request
that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present
meeting of the City Council.
