Hoag, Engineer, and on file in the office of the Director of Public corks of the City of Corpus Christi, reference to which water line layout plan is hereby made for all intents and Purposes, said installation of said water line to be at the expense of said City except the out iron pipe above mentioned which is to be provided by the Developer. 2. The City agrees to coastruut and 1—tall at its con expense the necessary gas lines to Morro said Cole Place Addition. as determined by the Department of public Utilities of said City. 3. It is farther agreed and understood that upon osmpletim of this work all water and gas lima placed in said &dditica errs to be- come the property of the said City. And it is understood and agreed that the developer convoys by the e=oution of this instrmeat all right, title, interest and claim he car have in and to wW and all water and gas lima installed in asoordanoe with this sgrearat, to the City. It is understood and agreed that the City will begin work on installing said water and gee lines as soon ere reasonably possible, and will prosecute the work diligently to conclusion, in accordance with the terns hereof, but it is understood that said work I. to be completed within one year from the data of tug instrument. The necessity for providing adequate water and gas facilities for the new subdivisions and additions to the City creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity requiring the sus- pension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such Charter rule be sus- pended, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.
