APPROPRIATING TBE SUM OF $11,756.14
FROM CURRENT FUND NO. 102 FUR THE
PURPOSE OF PAYING OFF SCRIP RELO BY _
METER DEPOSITS FUND No. 114.
WEEREAS, there is due the sum of 011,756.14 for Sorip issued by the
City prior to 4roh 1, 1933, in payment of salaries; and,
7MBEAS, said Scrip is payable out of Current Fund No. 102, and
is a liability against said Current Fund; and,
YOREAS, said Sorip is now owned by Meter Deposits Fund No. 114;
and,
'TEED M, there arc sufficient funds in Currant Fund No. 102.

NOR', THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUCIL OF TEE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEAS,
SECTION 1. There Is hereby appropriated the sum of 011,756.14
from Current Fund No. 102 for the purpose of paying off Sorip issued by
the City prior to March 1, 1933, in payment of salaries, said Scrip being
now owned by metar Deposit. Fund No. 114.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the accounts and fund from which the
appropriation is made, as provided for in the Ordinance attached
hereto, and I do certify that the money required for such appro-
priation is in the Treasury to the oredit of the fund from whioh
such appropriation is to be drawn, and that there are monies in
such fund which are not appropriated for any other purpose and
which are available at this time.
