CRRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Corpus
Christi, Teams, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Con-
tract for and on behalf of the City with Hnnble Oil and Refining
Company /covering eredit sates of gasoline and oils at the Airports,
a copy of said contract being attached hereto and made a part hereof
for all intents and purposes.

Supplemental to the attached credit cased agreement letter, and in
accordance with the question raised in your letter of June 25 addressed
to @9r. T. J. Ingle, we are agreeable to the following arrangement inso-
far as the responsibility for credit extended on Ehneble credit cards is
concerned:
Each credit card recall letter will be mailed to the Airport Manager,
Cliff Maus Municipal Airport, in licate, the original copy to be
retained at the airport and the duplicate copy to be signed and forwarded
immediately to lair. Frisco Roberta of our local office in Corpus Christi.
This nthod of handling will insure that each credit card recall letter
is received by you and a receipt to that effect is in our files. In case
Or your failure to receive a credit card recall letter, and our failure
to have a receipt in our files from you, the City of Corpus Christi
will not be held responsible for the collection of sales made against
the recalled credit cards listed in such letter.
If the above arrangement is acceptable to you, we would appreciate your
signing the credit card letter attached, from which we have deleted the
mords "whether or not in fact you have received such notice," and
returning one copy to us. We would also appreciate your indicating
acceptance of this supplemental letter by signing in the space indicated
below and returning one copy for our files.

Dear Sir:
We are forwarding you under separate cover a supply of forms for use by
you, if you desire, in making airport credit sales. This form, when
properly filled out, evidences an obligation on the part of the Purchaser
of your products to pay you or your assigns on receipt of statement. If
you desire to do so, you may assign purchasers' obligations for gasoline
and lubricating oil, and for washing, greasing, and tire repair service,
from our credit customers to this Company, and our truck drivers will ex-
tend you credit for the face value thereofagainst products which they
deliver to you. To receive credit, you must not only execute the assign-
ment but insert your contract resale number.
You will be furnished from time to time with the names of credit customers
whose credit cards have been cancelled, and one of the conditions upon
which we accept an assignment of the Purchasers, obligation is that you
agree to make no credit sale to persons who are not holders of current
credit cards in good standing, or who you are advised are no longer ex-
tended credit by the Company. If a truck driver should take up obligations
which are not authorized above, the Company reserves the right to charge
the amount of the sale back to you. It is understood that the right to
charge such sales to your account shall exist aftsr proper notice of
cancellation has been mailed
If you desire to make sales of gasoline or lubricating oil and to furnish
washing and lubricating service to holders of Humble Oil & Refining Company
Credit Cards upon the conditions specified above, please execute in the
space provided for your signature and return to us the attached copy of
this letter.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the
foregoing ordinance, a publio emergency and imperative necessity
exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that no
ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally . on the date it is
introduoed, and that auoh ordinance or resolution shall be read at
three meetings of the City Council, I, therefore, hereby request
that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present
meeting of the City Council.

either light Iron barrels or heavy type barrels or drama in an effort to maintain prompt delivery schedules, and that, subject to
the provisions of this clause, all heavy drums are and stall remain the property of the Seller, bared to the Bayer for transpor-
tation only of the products delivered hereunder.

PAYMENTS-Notwithstanding the acceptance of this contract by Seller, if Seller is not satisfied with the financial re-
sponsibility of Buyer, ca. -if the financial remmudbilty of Buyer hereafter becomoa impaired, or wry to Seller, or if
Buyer fails to make payment as provided, Seam' shall have the right to demand cash payment er satisfactory security and
may withhold shipments until It receives such Payment or security.

adjust the price or grit= of any products contracted for herein, except aviation gasoline unless otherwise stated on the reverse
aide hereof. The price of aviation gasoline may be changed at any time without notion. If Seller's regular list price erhedule ts
reduced, a corresponding redaction will apply to these prices during the period of oath reduction. In the event Seller's regular

ganging and Buyer shall deliver to Seller a receipt for the amount of oil delivered as shows by such gouge taken by a
representative of both parties.

DIGRESS AND EGRESS --Seger shall have free rights of ingress and egress to the airport or other property upon which
the pleat and storage teak of the Buyer are located for receiving deliveries, installation or removal or maintenance of equip-
meat hereunder without any fee or other charge being imposed upon Soler for the privilege of entering such airport or other
property on which Buyer's receiving equipment is located.
