BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TMASr SECTION 1. That the City Yonager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Special Warranty Deed for and on behalf of the City with 0. V. Jackson, ooxroeyiag a tract of land located in Avalon Place between Alameda Street and Everhart Road in the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a copy of said deed being attached hereto and made a part hereof for all pertinent purposes. The fact that the land herein conveyed is of no beneficial use to the City, and the fact that monies received from the sale of the same can be used for park and street purposes creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity requiring the aus- pension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Yeyor having declared that such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such Charter rule be suspon- ded, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDA -.M.
