HomeMy WebLinkAbout02394 ORD - 10/19/1948v a a AN ORDINANCE AMBLING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI ADOPTED ON THE 27TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1937, AND APPEARING OF RECORD IN VOLUME 9, PAGES 565 ET SEQ OF THE ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTION RECORDS OF THE CITY OF ' CORPUS CHRISTI, AND AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME TRCRE F'TEH, AND IN PARTICULAR AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2266, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON TEE 4TH DAY OF MAY, 1948, AND APPEARING OF RECORD IN VOLUa 16, PAGES 339 ET SEQ OF THE ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTION RECORDS OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI BY A ARTICLE = OF SAID ORDINANCE N0. 2266, ADOPTED ON SAID MAY 4. 19481 PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HSRE- SPITE ARE BEHEST REPEALED; AND DECLARING AN BMSRGENCY. WHEREAS, the Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of Corpus Christi has recommended to the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Teaas, that it is advisable to make the hereinafter ohange in the present Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Chriatil end, WEERM, the City Council at its regular meeting held on June 15, 1948, ordered a Public Bearing to be held cn the 8th day of July, 1948, at 4,00 o'clock P. M.; and, TME@EAS, proper notice of said hearing was published three times in the official newspaper of the City of Corpus Christi, in the manner provided by law; and, VMMAS, the City Council did on the 8th day of July, 1948, hold suoh hearing, where all interested oitiaena, property owners, and other parties had the opportunity to be heard on the proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, and at such hearing all parties interested and wishing to be heard were heard= NON, THMMORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CCRPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi passed on the 27th day of August, 1937, appearing in Volume 9 at Pages 565 at seq of the Ordinance and Resolution Records of the City of Corpus O2sisti, and as emended from time to time, and I..Par- ticular ae amended by Ordinance No, 2266 passed and approved by the City Counoil of said City on the 4th day of May, 1948, and appearing in Volume 16, Pages 339 et seq of the Ordinance and Resolution Records of said City be emended eH follows, It a,3�`� a V 1.
