i,e have in our possession a warrmzty deed conveying the above described
property o-,.;nod by the Pope estate to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, for
a cash consideration of •,900.00.
These lots are those which we understand the City needs to exchange with Dr.
C. B. Collins, but they were not included in the original contract bet een
the City and Popo k;state.
Thnro has been no formal contract of sale onter�d into by the owner of these
lots and the CiL-y and if ycu deori :hat; one will be necessary in order to secure
council approval, Tao will nreparo one and subi,dt it to you. «e had in mind,
however, this fetter could be considered on of.'. or to sell, subject to the terms
stated heroin, which, for the purposes of the record, can be accepted by the
City by letter addressed to Guaranty TiL-le and Trust Company, Trustee, to the
writer's attention.
The seller will furnish the City r :i_tix a ,olioy of title insurance in the amount
of the sales price and will pay all taxes for the year 19LB.
The deed conveying this property excepts from the conveyance and reserves all
oil, gas and other minerals in the lots but waives riShts of ingress and ogross.

Corporation, will, of course, be excepted in said title policy in addition to
the usual exceptions.
