'rde have in our possession a warranty deed conveying the above described
proper-'f owned by the pope estate to The City of corpus Christi, ToxRs, for
a cash considoration of y500.00.
TALS is the lot which iie understand the City need to exchange 1�'th Charles
Primeaux but was not included in the ori�ina1 contract between the City and
Guaranty Title -aid Trust Company, Trustee.
There has bean no formal contract of sale cut,-,red into by t-ic omaer of this
lot and the City and if you doors that one will be necessary in order to secure
council approval, we :=rill prepare ors and subnit it to you. :Te had in mind,
however, this latter could be considered an offer to sell, subject to the
terms stated herein, ti =ich, for the purposes of the record, can be ecoopted
by the City bar letter add-ressod to Guaranty _'itlo end Trust Company, Trustee,
to the -rwittar's attention.
The seller Ydil furnish the City with a policy* of title insurance in the amount
of the sales price and will pay all taxes for the year 1a48.
We are aware of the desirability of the City obtaining title to these lots
promptly. Therefore, we suggest that if this offer meets with your approval,
you forward a chock for the purchase Price plus X1.30 for recordi_nr, fee on
the decd and sign the enclosed ldaiver of Ribhts of Parties in Possession and
return it to us in your letter of accoptence of tliis offer. It is our im-
prossion that this lot is completely vacant.
