SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute a Special Warranty Teed with M. P. Williams, for and on behalf of
the City acnveying to said Ed. P. Williams a portion of Lots Ton (10) and
Twelve (12), in Block Eighty—ight (88), Brooklyn Addition in accordance
with a Contract between the City and Ed. P. Williams.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to pay
the sum of One Thousand and Ninety -two Dollars and Fifty -six Oent. (¢1.092.56)
to said Ed. P. 911liame, same to be paid out of Street Improvement Bonds
Series 19148 Construction Fond, said Sum of money to be paid and a Special
Warranty Deed mentioned is Section 1 delivered to said Ed. P. Williams
when said Ed. P. Mali— deliver. the deed to the City ocvering portions
of Lots Six (6) and Eight (8), in Block Eighty -eight (68), Brooklyn Addi-
tion as set out in the contract between the City and Ed. P. Williams.
SECTION 3. The necessity for providing proper right -of -ways
for D. 8. Highway No. 181 within the corporate limits of the City creates
a public emergency wad public imperative necessity requiring the suspension
of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally
on the date it is introduced and that each ordinance or resolution shall be
read at three aeveral meetings of the City Councils and the Mayor having
declared that such public mergency and imperative necessity exist, and
having requested that Such Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordi-
nance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect
and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS

For the reason- set forth in the emergency clause of the
foregoing ordinance, a public emergency and imperative necessity
exist for the suspension of the Charter rule or requirement that
no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date it
is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read
at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, hereby request
that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement d pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, crest the 'resent
meeting of the City Council.
