LOADING DOCK LOCATED AT THE FOOT OF CARROLL. There is hereby granted to Crystal Petroleum Com- paW* A distributor of Phillips Petroleum Company Products, a corpora- tion, the right and privilege to operate a tank truck or trucks to and on the Irhead located at the foot of Cooper Alley and the barge loading dook located at the foot of Carroll Street. SECTION II. The City Manager of the City of Corpus Christi is hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi to execute an agreement with said company in a000rdanee with the right and privilege granted herein for the limited purpose, within the limitations set forth therein, of furnishing diesel fuel oil to boat customers at said points, and for the consideration set forth in said agreement. The necessity for providing a source of supply of diesel fuel oil to boats moored at the L -$sad located at the foot of Cooper Alley end the barge loading docks located at the foot of Carroll. Street in the City of Corpus Christi immediately creates a public emergency and public imperative necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter Rule that no ordinance or resolution shell be passed finally on the date it is introduced and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three -sev- eral meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having requested that such Charter rule be suspended, declaring that such public emergency and impera- tive public necessity exist, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.
