AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF TEE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS, TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT OF
LEASE WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
LEASING TO THE CITY THE FORM U. S. NAVAL
AUXILIARY AIR STATION, CUDDIRY FIELD, TEXAS,
INCLUDING ALL LAND, BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS,
INSTALLATIONS AND APPURTENANCES AS WELL AS
ALL ITEMS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN
SAID LEASE AND IN A JOINTLY PREPARED INVEN-
TORY, FOR A TERM OF TWENTY FIVE YEARS --JULY
1, 1950 — June 30, 3.975 FOR THE CONSIDERA-
TION AND UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS
SET OUT IN SAID LEASEREEMENT, A COPY OF
WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART
HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION I. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorised and directed, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, to execute an agreement of lease with the United
States of America, by direction of the Chief of the Bureau of Yards
and Docks, acting under the direction of the Secretary of the Navy,
leasing to the City the former U. S. Naval Auxiliary Air Station,
Cuddihy Field, Texas, including all land, buildings, improvements,
as well as all items of personal property described in said lease
and in a jointly prepared inventory, for a term of Twenty —five years,
from July 1, 1950 to June 30, 1975, for the consideration and under
the terms and conditions as set out in said Lease Agreement, a copy
of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, reqding as follows:
