BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI. TEXAS SECTION 1. That there bey and there is hereby, appropriated from No. 270 City Hall Improvements the sum of Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred ($15,600) Dollars for transferring to No. 296 Improvement Bonds 1950 Construction Fund (Police Building) to cover the expenditures made in connection with air conditioning and other equipment to be installed and used in the new Police Building located one go Street in the City of Corpus Christi$ Texas, and said amount is hereby transferred to said No. 296 Improvement Bonds 3.950 Construction Fond (Police Building) to be used for such purposeap in accordance with the plans and speci- fications on file in the office of the City Secretary, to which plans and specifications and contract documents# and the ordinances author+. izing such to be made, being Ordinances Nos. 2805 and 2806, reference is here made for all purposes. SECTION 2. That the necessity of making the foregoing ap.. propriation and transfer immediately in order to avoid any delay in the completion of the new Police Building creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayort declaring such emergency and necessity to exists having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the data of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT 13 ACCORDINGLY 30 OHDASNCD.
