BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi
to execute a release of Special Assessment for street improvements against
Lot.l of the A. P. Cobb Subdivision of the City of Corpus Christi, fronting
91.2 linear feet on- Minnesota Street, and the real and true owner thereof,
Gertrude P. Heath - J. E. Hartie, Jr., for and in consideration of full
and final payment thereof, a copy of which release is attached hereto and
lade a part hereof.
SECTION 2. That the necessity for clearing the title to the
property involved creates a public emergency and an imperative public neces-
sity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or
resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and
that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings
of the City Council, and the Mayor, declaring such emergency and necessity
to exist, having requested the suspension of said Charter rule, that this
ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction, and that it
take effect and be in fullforce and effect from and after its passage, IT IS
ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.

Polum bit, Page 540 in the Mechanicts Lien Records of Nueces County,
Texas, fixing such lien under the provisions of Ordinance Ho. 2995.4
as follows:
Lot 1 of the A. P. Cobb Sub-
division in the City of Corpus
Christi, Nuecea County, Texas,
and against the real and true owner thereof, need as follows:
Gertrude P. Heath - J. E.
Hartle, Jr., and
WiMEAS, The said Special Assessment has been fully paid off
and Satisfied as to the above described property and at the time of its
payment the City of Corpus Christi was the owner and holder of all liens
securing its payment;
NOSE, THEREFORE, The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, a manitipal
corporation, for and in consideration of full and final payment of said
Special Assessment, does hereby release said property fro. all liens
securing the payment of said assessment and the owner of said property
from all personal liability created by the issuance of said lien and
other proceedings of said City above referred to,, and declare said Spatial
Assessment FULLY SATISFIED AND DISCHARM as to the above described property.

Officials of the City of Corpus Christi, Taus, and the corporate seal

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing
ordinance, a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspen-
sion of the Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall
be passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or
resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore,
hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this
ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of
the City Council.
