HomeMy WebLinkAbout03815 ORD - 07/28/1954AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE FOLLOWING AMOUNTS PAYABLE TO THE GENERAL FUND TO REIMBURSE SAID FUND FOR ADMINISTRA- TIVE COSTS INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THE FIVE YEAR IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM: $1,078.32 OUT OF NO. 200 GAS SYSTEM BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND; $537.65 OUT OF NO. 201 STREET BOND RIGHT -OF -WAY PURCHASE HMO; $18,878.13 OUT OF NO. 202 CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI WATERWORKS SYS- TEM CONSTRUCTION FUND; $202.37 OUT OF NO. 209 STREET TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEK BOND CONSTRUCTION FUND; $658.47 OUT OF NO. 212 FIRE STATION BOND CONSTRUCTION FUND; $2,063.00 OUT OF NO. 220 STREET BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND; $2,739,59 OUT OF NO. 295 STORM SEWER BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND; AND $4,047.47 OUT OF NO. 297 SANITARY SEVER SYSTEM BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND; BEING A TOTAL OF $30,205.00; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, The City General Fund from time to time has expended certain funds in connection with the five year improvement program; and WHEREAS, It is necessary at this time to reimburse the General Fund for these expenditures: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the following amounts payable to the General Fund. FUND NO NAME AMOLNT 200 Gas System Bond Improvement'Fund $1,078.32 201 Street Bond Right -of -way Purchase Fund 537.65 202 City of Corpus Christi Waterworks Sys- tem Construction Fund 18,878.13 209 Street Traffic Control System Bond Construction Fund 202.37 212 Fire Station Bond Construction Fund 658.47 220 Street Bond Improvement Fund 2,063.00 295 Storm Sewer Bond Improvement Fund 2,739.59 297 Sanitary Sewer Bond Improvement Fund 4,047.47 Total $30,205.00 SECTION 2. The necessity for reimbursing the General Fund for the above expenditures creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the N . City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance he passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, This the day of July, 1954.
