NOW, TERWORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated an additional amount of
$5,250.50 out of No. 210 Municipal Auditorium Bond Construction Fund to cover the
cost of changes listed below in connection with the project being carried out by
J. A. Walsh, Contractor, in connection with construction of the New Municipal
Auditorium on Shoreline Boulevard:

(2) 10 -6 -53 Change Order No. 3 - Changes for Gold $ 12,441.00

fixed to action around perimeter open-
ings in building
(4) to -6 -54 Change Order No. 5 - Omit marble under $ ( 1,447.00)
north side windows on exterior of
building - use brick
(5) 10.6 -54 Change Order No. 6 - Omit sidewalks on $ ( 602.90)
south side of building - remove drive
in front of building
TOTAL $ 5,250.60
SECTION 2. That the necessity for making an additional appropriation
of funds in order that the installation of changes as listed above to complete
the New Municipal Auditoriun creates a public emergency and an imperative public
necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or res-
olution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such
ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council,
and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having re-
quested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed
finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and

WHEREAS, It is necessary to appropriate an additional $5,250.00 to
complete said project,
