HomeMy WebLinkAbout04027 ORD - 01/05/1955AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TEE SUM OF $2,274.17 OUT OF NO. 297 BAtiI'TARY SEWER SYSTEM BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR SANITARY SURVEY OF OSO NAY FOR THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS BY SIGLER, CLARK AND WINSTON, CONSULTM ENGINEERS, OF.WESLACO, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate the amount of $2,274.17 to cover the cost of sanitary survey of Oso Bay for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas: NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the amount of $2,274.17 out of No. 297 Sanitary Sewer System Bond Improvement Fund to cover the cost of sanitary survey of Oso Bay for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas by Sigler, Clark and Winston, Consulting Engineers, of Weslaco, Texas. SECTION 2. That the necessity for making this appropriation creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule th" no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its �7age,, IS AC CORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, this the�day of 51L_J MAYOR CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, 4.
