NOW, THEREFOBE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIi OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:_. SECTION 1. That there is,hereby appropriated the sum of $4,555.00 from No. PIP Fire Station Bond Construction Fund for the construction of pavement, curb and gutter and culverts at fire station to be constructed at Kostoryz and Sunnybrook, said pavement, curb and gutter and culverts to be constructed by the Street Division of the Department of Public Works of City of Corpus Christi. SECTION 2. The_necessity for_this construction creates a public 1 1. emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the, suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed firaa> on the date of, its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full, force_ and, effect from and after its passage, IT 28 ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, This the_&'_day of January: 1955• +1 _ THE CITY OF CORPUS Al..
