CONTROL»- +`. ---- • ' --+« .. _ ,. ,.._ ,._.._»... - AND TESTING BY TRINITY TESTING LABORATOR- IES, INC., IN CONNECTION WITH CON$TRUC- TION PROJECTS; AMID DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated from various bond funds as indicated in the following table the aum of $4,646.50 Par concrete control and testing by Trinity Testing Laboratories, Inc., from August through December, 1954, in connection with construction projects: AMOUNT PROJECT FUND NO. That the necessity for concrete control and testing by Trin- ity Testing Laboratories, Inc., on construction projects creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity, requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction, and that said ordi- nance shall be read at three (3) several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared that such emergency and imperative public necessity exists, and having requested said Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally and on the date of its introduction, and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS SO ORDAINED.
