FOR CHANGES RELATIVE TO SHEER HEADS AND WEIGHT
OF STEEL TO COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MORG.AN
STREET FIRE STATION BY BURNETT CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate an:Bdditional $413.00 to complete
said project:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated an additional amount of
$413.00 out of No. 212 Fire Station Bond Construction Fund to cover the cost of changes
listed below in connection with the project being carried out by Burnett Construction
Company in connection with construction of the Morgan Street Fire Station:

(2) 10 -27 -54 Use heavier steel in sheer heads
authorized in Change Order j7l 105.00
Total amount of changes: $413.00
SECTION 2. That the necessity for making an additional appropriation of
funds in order that the installation of changes in sheer heads and weight of steel
to complete the Morgan Street Fire Station creates a public emergency and an imperative
public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or
resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordi-
nance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and
the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested
the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the
date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, this the
