HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE •CITY OF CORPUS CHR=,
TEAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi to execute an easement to Ceatral
Power and Light Company for a guy stub and guy wire and all necessary and desirable
attachments and appurtenances across a tract of land out of the northeast side of
lot nine, section D of the Paisley's Subdivision of the Hoffman Tract, in accord-
ance with the terms of said easement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The necessity for granting this easement creates a
public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the
Charter role that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of
its introduction and that such ordinance orresolution sbs]1 be read at three several
meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, declaring such emergency and necessity
to exist, having requested the suspension of the said Charter rule and that this
ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be
in Poll force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACOORD=Y PASSED AND
APPROVED, this theAdey of January, 1955.

. THAT the City of Corpue Obriati, a mooJoipal corporation, duly
inoarporated undsr the laws of the State of Texas, acting by its duly
authorized City Manager, for and in consideration of One Lollar (01.00)
to it in hand paid by Central Power and Light Company, receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged and Confessed, has this day GRANTED and dose hereby
GRANT unto said Central Power and Light Company,, a Texas corporation, its
successors and assigns, subject to the conditions and limitations hereinafter
made, an easement for a guy stub and guy wires and all necessary and
desirable attachments and appurtenances, across and upon the following
described land now owned by it located in the county of Nuaces, and State
of Texas, to -vita
THE NO.ITHEAST coPn" 50' X 50' OUT OF
A tract of land 200 feet by 220 feet out of the Nortleast
aide of Lot Nine (g) Section D of the Paisley's Subdivision
of the Hoffman Tract as shown by Map of Record in Office of
County Clerk of Nueees County, Texas, said tract of Sand OF 200' z 220'
being more particularly described by metes and bounds in
Volume Wth, page 201, of the Dead Records of Nueaes County,
Texas
The location of said guy wires and stub shall be approximately
35 feet in a southwesterly direction inside the property from the north-
east Property aoraers:of the above described land.
TOGETHER with the right of ingress and egress to and from
said easements for the purpose of installing, maintaining, inspecting
and removing said electric tranaalsoion line guy stub and guy wire and
a!�purtenwwes.
IT IS AGREED THAT in the event the guy stub and guy wire and
aPPUItenaneos installed hereunder interfere with the construction or
maintenance of any building or other improvement on the above land, Or&ntOa
will 7z-to said guy stub and gry wires and appurtenaacoo to avoid such
interference.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described rights and easement
unto the said Central Power and Light Compmy, its successors and assigns
until said guy stub and guy wire and aixprtttenanoes ahall be abandoned and
ramoved. Upon any such removal, Grantees its successors and aseigue, shall
fill any and all holes or depressions caused by such removal of such
facilities and reasonably restore the surface of the land to aubatantially
the Game condition as prevailed at the time of the installation of said
facilities on said land.

SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
