NO. 102 CURRENT FUND TO REIMBURSE SAID FOND FOR ENGINEER- ING SERVICES TO HE PROVIDED BY THE ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUG- TION DIVISION IN CQWCTION WITH VARIOUS PROJECTS OF THE TERMAKEM IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM DURING TIE FMIOD FRCK JANUARY 1, 1955 THROUGH APRIL 30, 1955: $39,184 OUT OF NO. 202, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI WATERWORKS SYSZ•Et4 CONSTRUCTION FUND; $1,574 OUT OF NO. 212, FIRE STATION BOND CCNSTRUCTION . - FUND; $11,633 OUT OF NO. 220, STREET BOND IMPROVEMENT FOND; $12,158 OUT OF NO. 295, STORM :EWER BOND JMFROVEMENT FUND; AND $22,916 OUT OF NO. 297, SANITARY SEWER BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND; PROVIDING THAT SAID REIMBURSKMENT SHALL BE COMPUTED AT THE END OF EACH MONTH ON THE BASIS OF ENGIN&M NG LABOR COSTS; PROVIDING THAT THE UNEMNDED BALANCE ON ARM 30, 1955 SHALL REVERT TO THE PARENT FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EMMCENCY. WHEREAS, The expenditures of the Engineering and Construction Divi- sion are paid from No. 102 Current Fund; and WHEREAS, It is necessary to reimburse No. 102 Current Fund at the end of each month for work done on bond fund projects: NOW, THEREFCEE, BE IT ORDAnED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the following amounts payable to No. 102 Current Fund in accordance with the provisions contained herein: FOND NO. NAME AMOUNT 202 City of Corpus Christi Waterworks $ 39,184 System Construction Fend 212 Fire Station Bond Construction Fund 1,574 220 Street Bond Improvement Fund 11,633 295 Storm Sewer Bond Improvement Fund 12,158 297 Sanitary Sewer System Bond Improve- ment Fund 22,916 Total $ 87,465 S•ECTICN 2. That reimbursement in accordance with this appropria- tion ahall be made at the end of each month on the basis of statements of charges approved by motion of the City Council, said charges to be competed in proportion to direct city engineering labor costs incurred on each con- struction project. SECTION 3. That the unexpended balance of aforesaid appropriation on April 30, 1955 shall revert to the funds from which it Was appropriated. P � - SECTION That therynacessity for making provision for the rein , bursement of the Current Fund for engineering services provided for various projects of the Permanent Program creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity# requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shell be passed finally on the date of its introduc- tion# and that said ordinance ehall be read at three (3) several meetings of the City Connell# and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and im- perative public necessity exists# and having requested said Charter rule be suspended# and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction# and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage# IT IS SO CRDAIIED.
