Storm Sewer, Units -11 and III and money appropriated for Unit II; WRIS, it is necessary to appropriate $173,825.65 for the con- struction of Proctor- Prawner Storm Sewer, Unit III:; which is the amount of contract price, NOW, TZEMORE,,BE'IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TMW: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the amount of $173,825.65 out of No. 295 Storm, Sewer Bond Improvement Fund for the construction of Proctor- Brawner Storm. Sewer, Unit III, by Heldenfels Brothers of Corpus Christi, Texas. SECTION 2. That the necessity for making an additional appropriation of funds in order that the construction of Proctor- Brawner Storm. Sewer, Unit III, may proceed, creates a public etab&t4y and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings.of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, ,having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT 18.
