THE REHABILITATION OF GAS MAINS AND SERVICES IN BIId,-
DECLARING All
WHEREAS, City Gas Fund No. 106 has expended certian funds in connec-
tion with the rehabilitation of gas mains in the Leopard -Hill area and the
rehabilitation of gas mains and services in the Hillcrest area; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary at this time to reimburse the No. 106 Gas
Fund for these expenditures:
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the amount of $6$.34
from No. 200 Gas System Bond Improvement Fund payable to No. 106 Gas Fund
in accordance with the list attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The necessity for reimbursing the gas fund for the
above expenditures creates a public emergency and an imperative public necess-
ity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolu-
tion shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such
ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the city
Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and necessity to exist,
having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance
be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take
effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS
ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, This the G day of San 1955.
