HomeMy WebLinkAbout04120 ORD - 02/02/1955bpr:,, 1 -31-55 j AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE ADDITIONAL SUM OF $3,120.00 FOR `ENGINEERING SERVICES OF LOCKWOOD AND ANDREWS, CONSULTING- ENGINURS, FOR $80,000 OF ADDITIONAL STORM,SEWERS LOCATED BETWEEN KOSTORYZ ROAD AND HAMLIN SCHOOL, IN CONNECTION WITH PROJECT KNOWN AS STREET PAVING, CURB AND GUTTER AND APPURTENANCES ON STAPI$S STREET FROM LOUISIANA AVENUE TO HAMLIN DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NOECES COMM, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY: WHEREAS, a contract was executed by the City Manager for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi with Lockwood and Andrews, Consulting Engineers, acting by and through their agent, for professional engineering services in connection with street paving, curb and gutter and appurtenances on Staples Street, from Louisiana Avenue to Hamlin Drive in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, and the amount of $11,310.00 was appropriated out of No. 220 Street Bond Improvement Fund for said services in connection with said project; and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to appropriate the additional sum. of Bond $31120.00 out of No. 220 Street/Improvement Fund for engineering services of Lockwood and Andrews on $80,000 of additional storm sewers located between Kostoryz Road and Hamlin School in connection with above - mentioned project; NOW, THEREFCOE, BE IT ORDAINED 'BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of No. 220 Street Bond Improvement Ttmd the sum of $3,120.00 to cover engineering services on $80,000 of additional storm sewers between Kostoryz Road and Hamlin School in connection with ; street paving, curb and gutter and appurtenances on Staples Street, from Louisiana Avenue to Hamlin Drive in the 'City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. SECTION 2.
