AN ORDINANCE
RES70RUG THE SUM OF $3,652.00 TO THE FUND FROM WHICH
IT WAS APPROPRIATED, BEING FUND NO. 297 SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
BOND IMPROVE11ENT FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, By Ordinance No. 4131 there was appropriated the sum of
aW2,497.19 for construction of the Oso Trunk Sewer Line by Heldenfels
Brothers; and
WHEREAS, It is now necessary to restore the balance of $3,652.00
to the fund from which it was appropriated; since only the amount of #4881845.19
will be needed, due to change order Number 1 relating to the substitution of
4 21t reinforced concrete pipe for 36t, clay pipe.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby restored to Bond Fund No. 297
Sanitary Sewer System Bond Improvement Fund the sum of #3,652.00 which was
heretofore appropriated by Ordinance No. 4131 for construction of the Oso
Trunk Sewer Line by Heldenfels Brothers.
,Rr,}Nj SECTION 2. The fact that it is necessary to restore said amount
to the fund from which it was appropriated creates a public emergency and an
imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule
that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its
introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three
several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared that
such public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested
that such Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally
on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY :z:i55.

FOR THE REASONS SET FORTH IN THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE OF THE FOREGOING -
ORDINANCE, A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE NECESSITY EXIST FOR THE SUSPEN-
SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; 1, THEREFORE,
HEREBY REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID-CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS
THIS ORDINANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
