RPSTORTNG THE SUM OF 617,18 .00 TO THE FUND FRAM IMOR
IT WAS APPROPRSATED, BEING FUND N0. 297 SANITARY S3M
SYSTEM BOND IMPROVE1ZNT FUND, AND DECIAR.TNG AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, By Ordinance No. 4094 there was appropriated the sum of
$glo,150.00 for modification of Broadway Sewer Treatment Plant by Burnett
Construction Company; and
WHEREAS, It is now necessary to restore the balance of $17,184.00
to the fund from which it was appropriated; since only the amount of $892,966.00
Will be needed, due to change order No. ,l relating to a substitution of standard
filter blocks for high rate filter blocks.
4 � NOW, TDNwoRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TESAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby restored to Bond Fund No. 297
Sanitary Sewer System Bond Improvement IFund the sum of $17,184.00, which was
heretofore appropriated by Ordinance No. 4094 for modification of Broadway Seger
Treatment Plant by Burnett Construction Company.
SECTION 2. The fact that it is necessary to restore said amount to
the fund from which it was appropriated creates a public emergency and an
imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that
no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its
introduction and that such ordinance o l r resolution shall be read at three
several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared that such
public emergency and imperative necessity exist, and having requested that such
Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date
of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED.

FOR THE REASONS SET FORTH IN THE EMERGENCY CLAUSE OF THE FOREGOING -
ORDINANCE, A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE NECESSITY EXIST FOR THE SUSPEN-
SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; 1, THEREFORE,
HEREBY REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID-CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT AND PASS
THIS ORDINANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
