AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 202 CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI WATERWORKS SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION FUND
THE SUM OF $150.00 FOR PAYMENT TO DEXTER HAMON,
ARCHITECT, FOR INSPECTIONS OF UTILITIES BUILD-
ING AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated ott of No. 202 City
of Corpus Christi Waterworks System Construction Fund the sum of $150.00 for
payment to Dexter Hamon, Architect, for inspections of the Utilities Building
at various times during construction.
SECTION 2. That the necessity for appropriating Hinds for the pay-
ment to Dexter Hamon, Architect, for inspection services creates a public emer-
gency and imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule
that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its intro-
duction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several
meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared such emergency and
necessity to exist, requesting the suspension of such Charter rule and that this
ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and
be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO
ORDAINED.

appropriated for any other purpose.
