THAT THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED THE SUM OF $8,775.00 OUT OF NO. 209 STREET TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM BOND IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING 250 STOP SIGNS AT AY13.50 EACH FOR AN AMOUNT OF $3f375.00 (OF WHICH p1,125.00 IS FOR LABOR AND $2,250.00 IS FOR MATERIAL); AND LIDO SPEED ZONE SIGNS AT $12.00 EACH FOR AN AMOUNT OF o'51I100.00 (OF WHICH $11800.00 IS FOR LABOR AND $3,600.00 IS FOR MATERIAL), A LIST OF THE LOCATIONS OF SAID SIGNS TO BE INSTALLED BEING ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. Christi, .Texas Gentlemen: For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance, a public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspen- sion of the..Charter rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall he passed finally on the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, hereby request that you suspend said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
