from the 141 Water Fund and. will be used for Gas Permanent Improvement
Projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT O1QADW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORYUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated from the 200 Gas
System Bond Improvement Fund the sum of $84,380.77 to provide for reimburs-
ing No. 141 Water Fund for materials to be used on Gas System_ Permanent
Improvement Projects as follows:

SECTION 2. That the necessity for appropriating funds from the 200
Gas System Bond Improvement Fund to reimburse No. 141 Water Fund for materials
in connection with the Gas System Permanent Improvement Projects creates a
public necessity and an imperative public emergency, requiring the suspension
of the Charter Role that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally
on the date of its introduction, and that said ordinance shall be read at
three (3) several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared
that such emergency and imperative public necessity exists, and having requested
said Charter rule be suspended, and that this ordinance be passed finally on the
date of its introduction, and that this ordinance take effect and be in full
force and effect from. and after its passage, IT I6 60 ORDAMM.

ORDINANCE, A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND IMPERATIVE NECESSITY EXIST FOR THE SUSPEN-
SION OF THE CHARTER RULE OR REQUIREMENT THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL
BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL; I, THEREFORE,
HEREBY REQUEST THAT YOU SUSPEND SAID CHARTER RULE CR REQUIREMENT AND PASS
THIS ORDINANCE FINALLY ON THE DATE IT IS INTRODUCED, OR AT THE PRESENT MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
