WHEREAS, The Zoning and Planning Commission has forwarded to the - a . City Council its reports and recommendations concerning a certain application for amendment to the Zoning Map of the City of Corpus Christi Texas; and WHEREAS; a Public Hearing was duly held at which hearing all per- { sons wishing to be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to ^ the public, said Public Hearing having been held on March 24, 1959, at a Special Council Meeting of the City Council at 2:00 P.M., in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall in the•City of Corpus Christi, Texas; and WHEREAS, by motions duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendments would beat serve public health, necessity and convenience, and the general;,welfare of the City and its citizens; t • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS'; - - - SECTION f. —That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed on the 27th day of August, 1937, appearing of record in Volume ` ^r 9, Pages 565 Et Seq of the Ordinance and Resolution Records, as amended from time to time, and in particular as amended by Ordinance No. 2266, passed and approved by the City Council on the 4th day of May, 1948, appearing of record in Volume 16, Pages 339 Et Seq of said Ordinance and Resolution Records, and as amended by Ordinance No. 4846, adopted on the 21st day of August, 1957, • Y appear Jug of record in volume 26', Pages 385 Et Seq of the Ordinance and Reno - - Y - lut ion Records, be and the same is- hereby amended by making the changes here -;i'•. inaftar,set out. SECTION 2. ' That the zoning'of that tract of land described as Lots (10), Eleven,(11) and Twelve (12),,Block Four (4), Molina'Addition No. One Ten ; `, (1) to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and being the South three hundred ' feet (S: 300') of Block Four (4), extending through from Angela Street to Elvira Street ^at Bloomington Street, be changed from "R -1" single family dwell- ing district to !'B -1" neighborhood business district, as approved by the CiCy r^ Council on the 24th day of March, 1959.
