H. MANN- ING% A COPY OF WHICH RELEASE IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS% SECTION 1. That the City Manager, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute Release of Special Assessment as follows% Assessment evidenced by Certificate 139 in the amount of $72.2u against that certain property fronting 5u feet on the West side of Baldwin Blvd., described as being Lot 5, Block 5, Baldwin Park, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, as shown by map or plat thereof of record in the office of the County Clerk, Nueces County, Texas, and the owner thereof, 0. H. Manning, for and in consideration of the payment of such assessment. SECTION 2. That, said payments having been made, the necessity of immediately releasing the same to car the title to such prop- erty creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity re- quiring the suspension of the Charter Rule that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency to exist, having requested the suspension of said Charter Rule and that this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that this Ordinance M7 taxe effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED, This day of June, 1959.
