BLOCK 2. SOUTHWOOD ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, AND THE OWNER THEREOF, R._R._HOLEMANs A COPY OF WHICH RELEASE IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, AND DE- CLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS SECTION 1. That the Ciity Manager, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute Release of Special Assessment as follows: Assessment evidenced by Certificate 91, in the amount of $492.85 against that certain property fronting 7U.24 feet on the Northwest side of Kostoryz Road, described as being S 7u.24' of Lot 4, Blk 2, South- wood Addition, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, as shown by map or plat thereof of record in the office of the County Clerk, Nueces County, Texas, and the owner thereof, R. R. Holeman, for and in consideration of the payment of such assessment. SECTION 2. That, said payments having been made, the necessity of immediately releasing the same to clear the title to such property creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity re- quiring the suspension of the Charter Rule that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such Ordinance or Resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency to exist, having re- quested the suspension of said Charter Rule and that this Ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that this Ordinance take effect 5383 and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY PASSED AND APPROVED,.This I Qday of June, 1959.
