That the City Manager, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi, beg and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute Re- lease of Speciai Assessment as foiiows: Assessment evidenced by Certificate 15, in the amount of $72.20 against that certain property fronting 50 feet on the 'LVest side of Baldwin Blvd., described as being Lot 7, 3lock 59 Baidt ,,,rin Park, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County,- Texas, as shown by map or plet thereof of record in the office of the County Cierk, Nueces County, Texas, and the owner thereof, S. G. Roweli, for and in consideration of the payment of such assessment. SECTION 2. That said payments having been made the necessity of immediately releasing the same to.clear the title to such property creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter Pule that no Ordinance or Resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such Ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the 1.1ayor having declared such emergency to exist, ha-�nng requested the suspension of said Charter pule and that this ordinance be passed finaiiy on the date of its introduction and that this Ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its pas ge, IT IS ACCCPDINGLY :PASSED AND APPROVED, This—Z-4—day of August, 1959. TFE CITY OF CORPUS %HEISTS, TEX"'S mm: ,/59 THE STATE OF TEXAS RELEASE OF LIEN KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF NUECES WHEREAS, by virtue of an ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, duly enacted by its City Council on the 19thday of January 55 -' as amended on the_ —day of —_ -� —_ , 19___, there was levied an assess - anent in the sum of Seventy -two and 20/100 ($— 72.20 _)Dollars against property situated in said City, fronting_ 50 _-feet on the- WOStside of Park —and described as follows: Lot 7, Block 5, Baldwin Park, an addition to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. And against the real and true owner or owners thereof, named as follows: 9. Co Rowell WHEREAS, said Special Assessment was evidenced by such assessment Certificate No._ 15 issued by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, on the 29th day of June 1955-, and WHEREAS, the said assessment Certificate has been fully paid off and satisfied, and at the time of its payment the City of Corpus Christi was the owner and holder of said Certificate and of all liens securing its payment; NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Corpus Christi, Texas a municipal corporation, for and in consideration of the payment of said Special Assessment doss hereby release said property from all liens securing the payment of said assessment and the owner of said property from all personal iiabiiity created by the issuance of said Certificate and the other proceedings above re ferred tog -and does declare said Special Assessment fully satisficed and disc- harged.
