HomeMy WebLinkAbout05556 ORD - 11/04/1959IMS:JKH:11 -4 -59 TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, A CONSENT AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS MEXICAN RAILWAY COMPANY FOR A 24-INCH SANITARY SEINER LINE AND MANHOLE TO BE LOCATED ON CAHA DRIVE WITHIN TRE RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY AND FOR CROSSING OF SAID COMPANY RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY 8EIVEEM WK DRIVE AND SAVAGE LANE IN TFE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI WITH 2 -INCW SANITARY EWER LINE, A COPY OF WHICH AGREE- MENT-13 ACHED HERETO AND PME PART HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. THAT THE CITY MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO EXECUTE, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, A CONSENT AGREE- MENT WITH THE TEXAS MEXICAN RAILWAY COMPANY WHICH APPROVES THE INSTALLATION OF A 24 -INCH SEWER LINE AND A 4 FOOT DIAMETER STANDARD MANHOLE TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN OMAHA DRIVE ON THE RIGHT OF WAY OF THE RAILROAD AND INSTALLATION OF 12 -INCH SANITARY SEWER LINE IN RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY OWNED BY THE TEXAS MEXICAN RAILWAY il�oRSH' COMPANY, LOCATED ALONG A LINE FEET SsaEmHIIOF THE CENTER LINE OF ITS MAIN � TRACT BETWEEN OMAHA DRIVE AND SAVAGE LANE IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, A COPY OF SAID CONSENT AGREEMENT BEING ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. SECTION 2. WITNESSETH: 1, 1'hat the City desires to install a 24" sanitary sewer pipeline in Omaha Drive, a public street in the City of Corpus Christi, in Nueces County, Texas, under the Railroad's existing tracks , said 24" sewer line to be located at about Railroad's Engineering Station 183 f 39 in said Omaha Drive and a 4 foot diameter standard manhole constructed 251 North of the center line of the Railroad's main track opposite Engineering Station 181 4 39. This 241 sewer line Is to be enclosed ano encased in a 48" conduit for a distance of d0 feet in both directions from the center of Railroad's tracks. All of the said sewer line shall be installed at a depth of approximately 21 feet below thesirfac of the existing ground level. Z. That the City desires to install a 12" sanitary sewer line in the Railroad's ri .*ht -of -way 251 North of the center line of Railroad's main tracr: from the manhole opposite Engineering Station 183 f 39 in said Omaha Drive, a public street in the City cif Carpus Christi, and thence with said sanitary new line extending westwardly parallel to and 251 North of the Main track to Savage Lane, a distance of approximately 1610.5 feet to Engineering Station, 199 -i-49. -Lind at such terminating point a 4 foot standard manhole shall be installed by th Gity. 1 his 12" sanitary sewer line is to be enclosed and encased in a _24" corru;ated metal pipe (12.- gauge) conduit for a distance of .'0' in b -)th direct.u. s fr: c the center line of the Railroad's spur tracks.
