Read tailed the roll of required Charter Officers and verified that the necessary quorum was present to conduct a Legally constituted meeting, Mayor Jones coiled on Mrs_ Phyllis Burson, Director of Community Enrichment, who presented the Council with a Japanese doll which was a gift from the four Sister City exchange students from Yokosuka. Japan during the summer. - Mayor Jones accented the gift on behalf of the City Council and stated that -it will appropriately be presented to the Japanese Art Museum.
