PUCKETT, ET AL, IN CONNECTION WITH PROJECT NO. 250- 7o -80.1, SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS FOR WESTWOOD, MARTINE, SABLATURA AND GUTH PARKSIDE, SAID CAUSE BEING FILED IN THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW NUMBER ONE OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS;AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. THERE IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND THE SUM OF $3114, THE SUM OF $2214 BEING FOR JUDGMENT AWARD AND THE SUM OF $90 BEING FOR COMMISSIONERS' FEES, ALL IN CONNECTION WITH ACQUISITION OF PARCEL OR TRACT OF LAND OUT OF LOT 10, BLOCK 1, GUTH PARKSIDE, CAUSE N0. 631, STYLED CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI VS. THOMAS D. PUCKETT, ET AL, IN CONNECTION WITH PROJECT NO. 250-70 -8O.1, SANITARY SEWER EXTENSIONS FOR WESTWOOD, MARTINE, SABLATURA AND GUTH PARKSIDE, SAID CAUSE BEING FILED IN THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW NUMBER ONE OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS. SECTION 2. THE NECESSITY TO MAKE THE APPROPRIATION HEREINBEFORE DESCRIBED IN ORDER -TO TAKE POSSESSION OF THE PARCEL INVOLVED CREATES A PUBLIC EMERGENCY AND AN IMPERATIVE PUBLIC NECESSITY REQUIRING THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE THAT NO ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND THAT SUCH ORDINANCE OR RESOLUTION SHALL BE READ AT THREE SEVERAL MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND THE MAYOR HAVING DECLARED SUCH EMERGENCY AND NECESSITY TO EXIST, AND HAVING REQUESTED THE SUSPENSION OF THE CHARTER RULE,THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE PASSED FINALLY ON THE DATE OF ITS INTRODUCTION AND TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, THIS THEo 44LDAY OF , 1970.
