RICHARDSON CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVE- MENTS TO CORPUS CHRISTI MARINA, PIER AND PILING WORK FOR BOAT SLIPS; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 292 MARINA BOND FUND $3,512.50 FOR SAID CHANGE ORDER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Loyd W. Richardson Con- struction Corporation for construction of improvements to Corpus Christi Marina, Pier and Piling Work for Boat Slips. SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of No. 292 Marina Bond Fund the sum of $3,512.50 for said Change Order. SECTION 3. The necessity to authorize the aforesaid Change Order in order that the work of construction of improvements to Corpus Christi Marina, Pier and Piling Work for Boat Slips may continue without delay, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspen- sion of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolu- tion shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the_LdaP day of September ATTEST: City Secretary MAYOR THE CITY OF S CHRISTI, TEXAS APPROVED: i D Y OF SEPTEMBER, 1972: P City Attorrney A075 u Change Order No. Two (2) CHANGE ORDER_- • Engineering Services Department . Richardson Construction Corporation CHANGE ADD Implement changes shown on drawing entitled "Slip Changes to Lawrence St. "T" Head Stem ", dated 8 Sept 1972, except that Plan "B ", shown on the draw- ing shall not be implemented. This change order gives the contractor authority to construct the western (5) large catwalks on the south side of the "T" Head Stem and all large catwalks on the north side of the stem, in accordance wi the provisions of Plan "A" as shown on said drawing. It shall also be specified here that the piling of the eastern three large catwalks on the south side of the "T" Head Stem shall remain as driven befo e 7 September 1972, and further, that these three catwalks shall be construct d in accordance with the drawing entitled "Revision to C.C. Marina, Large Sli s Along Stem, Revised August 16, 1972."
