RICHARDSON CONSTRUC- TION CORPORATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CORPUS CHRISTI MARINA, PIER & PILING WORK, PROJECT NO. 292 -70 -1; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE NO. 292 MARINA BOND FUND $3,387.17 TO SUPPLEMENT $1,000 IN BETTERMENT FUNDS AND $712.83 IN CONTIGENCY FUNDS PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 10,818; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 6 to the contract with Loyd W. Richardson Construction Corporation for the con- struction of Improvements for the Corpus Christi Marina, Pier & Piling Work, Project No. 292 -70 -1, a copy of said Change Order Nc. 6 being attached hereto :is Exhibit "A ", and made a part h,areof. SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the No. 292 Marina Bond Fund $5,100 for the aforesaid Change Order No. 6, applicable to Project No. 292 -70 -1. SECTION 3. The necessity-to authorize the execution of the aforesaid Change Order and the appropriation of the neces- sary funds in order that the project may continue without delay, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its intro - duction'but that such ordinance shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and X209 a CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS CERTIFICATION OF FUNDS (City Charter Article IV Section 21) I certify to the City Council that $ 1$7,17 , the amount required for the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditures contemplated in the above and foregoing ordinance is in the Treasury of the City of Corpus Christi to the credit of: Fund No. and Name 292 Maxind Bond Project No. 292 -70 -1 Project Name Cornuc Christi Marina Tirmmurments from which it is proposed to be drawn, and such money is not appropriated for any other purpose.
